Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: COPD patients with 1. aged 18-70 years 2. post-bronchodilator FEV1/FVC ratio of less than 0.7 and no significant bronchodilator response based on spirometry.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who decline to participate. 2. History of acute exacerbation of COPD within the past month, including worsening dyspnea and/or increased cough or sputum production. 3. Inability to complete required assessments: Berg Balance Scale, Timed Up and Go test, hand grip test, back strength test, MIP, MEP, or 6-minute walking test. 4. Inability to communicate or complete CAT, mMRC, or EQ-5D-5L questionnaires. 5. Presence of comorbidities that may affect balance, including: 5.1 Mental disorders 5.2 Uncontrolled hypertension (more than 180/120 mmHg) or hypotension (less than 90/60 mmHg) 5.3 Moderate to severe heart disease (more than NYHA class 3) 5.4 Neurological conditions such as dementia, stroke, neuromuscular disease, or any form of blindness 5.5 Pregnancy 5.6 Bedridden status 6. Participants who develop adverse symptoms during study assessments.

To determine the prevalence of impaired balance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). single time point (baseline) Balance impairment (primary outcome): assessed using balance tests such as Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and/or Timed Up and Go (TUG) test.
