The Self-Efficacy Enhancement of Foot Care Program for 12 weeks which was modified from the Integrated Foot Care Program, consisted of videos created by the researchers to promote diabetes and health

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) age of 20 years or above; 2) diabetes diagnosed at least one year without foot ulcers and its complications, and taking oral hypoglycemic medications; 3) HbA1c > 7.0%; 4) peripheral sensory loss detected at least one point or more testing at feet with Semmes-Weinstein Monofilament 5.07 (10 g pressure scale); 5) being capable of performing a foot care program; and 6) willingly to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded participants who could not participate throughout the program, practice foot assessment, foot care, and foot exercise with chair ten poses less than 80% using self-report, or were admitted to the hospital during the study.
