18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients age ranges from 18 years to 70 years undergoing elective coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valvular surgery or combined CABG and valvular surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass at the King Chulalongkorn Memorial hospital. 2.Left ventricular ejection fraction > 40% and > 50% in Mitral regurgitation case. 3.Adult patients who are able to provide informed consent on their own.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with history of cardiac surgery 2. Pregnancy patients 3. Patients with NYHA class IV before surgery 4. End stage renal disease patients 5. Abnormal liver function test 6. Patients with severe endocrine disease 7. Patients with history of stroke 8. Patients with congenital heart abnormality 9. Patients who have overt myocardial infarction and heart failure. 10. Emergency or urgent cases, patients on mechanical cardiac support (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenator and Intra aortic balloon pump)
