Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted with microscopy-confirmed P. vivax mono-infection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Symptoms suggestive of any form of co-infection, Underlying compromising conditions such as recent trauma, HIV/AIDS, active malignancy, autoimmune diseases and long-term immunosuppressant use.
