Population: Patient undergo first time lower extremities amputation (below knee amputation/through-knee amputation/above knee amputation) due to critical limb ischemia and acute limb ischemia at Ramathibodi hospital Aim: We want to find new suture technique (Subcuticular suture, continuously) that could somehow minimized rate of stump necrosis related re-operation in the above population Subcuticular suture Vertical mattress suture Amputated stump Skin necrosis related re-operation

Interventions

Skin of the amputated stump would be closed by using subcuticular continuous suture ,Skin of the amputated stump would be closed by using vertical mattress suture, interrupted fashion

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range from 18-80 years old 2. Patient undergo first time lower extremities amputation (below knee amputation/through-knee amputation/above knee amputation) due to critical limb ischemia and acute limb ischemia at Ramathibodi hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refuse to participate the research 2. Infection at the level of amputation (For example, if infected at ankle then amputation site should be at above knee amputation not below knee amputation)

Rate of reoperation (Re-amputation/Revise stump/Debridement) 4 years Clinical diagnosis (Re-operation was indicated if match with one of the following criteria 1. Significant necrosis 2. Significant stump infection 3. Significant wound disruption)
