Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female, aged between 30 and 50 years. 2. Ability to lie on either the left or the right side during ultrasound elastography examination. 3. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. 4. Office Work-Related Sedentary Behavior: Sitting for at least 30 consecutive minutes without standing in a single day.; Working greater than 6 hours per day and greater than 30 hours per week continuously for at least 3 months.; Standing or walking less than 4 hours per day. 5. Diagnosis of Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Confirmed by a physiotherapist, involving: Presence of taut bands in the QL muscles.; Identification of tender points within the muscles.; Reproduction of familiar pain upon palpation. 6. Lower Back Pain Symptoms: Pain located between the lower ribs and gluteal fold, either unilaterally or bilaterally. 7. Pain intensity rated at least 3 cm on a VAS scale (10cm). 8. Presenting with lasting longer than 3 months (chronic stage) without absence of radiating numbness or leg pain. 9. Functional Disability Level: Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score greater or equal 10% (5 score).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Athletic Training: Participants with training hours exceeding 20 hours per week. 2. Serious Conditions (Red Flags): a. Nighttime back pain without an apparent cause. b. Unexplained weight loss. 3. Medical History: Spinal Health History: spinal fractures, lumbar spine surgeries, osteoporosis, or neurological abnormalities. 4. Obesity: Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 30 kg/m2. 5. Pregnancy: Pregnant or suspected pregnancy. 6. Specific Pathological Causes of Low Back Pain: Conditions such as tumors, infections, inflammatory disorders, herniated discs, scoliosis, or prolapsed discs. 7. Nerve Compression Signs: a. Positive Straight Leg Raise (SLR) test (less than 45 degrees). b. Muscle weakness in one leg. c. Reduced reflexes (less than 2 plus). 8. Positional Limitation: Inability to lie on the side for 30 minutes. 9. The QL muscle is located deeper than 7 cm, as measured using US B-mode. 10. Participants with respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD), who have difficulty holding their breath for at least 10 second, and their inability to follow the instruction. 11. Contraindications of TTM include uncontrolled systolic and diastolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and 90 mmHg, respectively, a body temperature of more than 37.5 C, inflammation, muscle injuries and bone fractures, joint dislocation, skin diseases (wounds and fungus), venous problems (varicose veins, thrombosis, and others), severe osteoporosis, heart conditions (unstable hypertension, pacemaker), and cancer.
