50 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants between the ages of 50 and 70, both male and female. 2. Willing to follow study protocols and able to attend all scheduled appointments throughout the research term. 3. No significant symptoms or dangerous conditions, such as a history of arthritis, major hip, knee, or ankle operations, or chronic illnesses like Parkinson's disease or stroke, are found based on the medical history and physical examination. 4. The patient was diagnosed by a licensed Thai traditional medicine practitioner in accordance with Thai traditional massage criteria. 5. Volunteers who rate the severity of their knee osteoarthritis at levels 1 to 3 using the Thai version of the WOMAC Scale questionnaire. 6. Intensity scores more than 2 but less than 6 indicate mild to severe knee pain, which can be initially managed with external herbal medication, according to volunteers who report knee discomfort. 7. Not currently involved in any other scientific initiatives. 8. Consent to participate in the study by voluntarily signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women who are nursing or pregnant. 2. Past history of allergy to herbal remedies, such as ginger rhizome, long pepper flower, Phakhamkai leaves (Wrightia tomentosa), black pepper fruit, and gum bok leaves (Crateva religiosa). 3. Having significant underlying medical conditions or a history of liver or heart disease (such as infectious endocarditis, congenital heart disease, or arrhythmia). 4. A history of cancer or a bone fracture diagnosis. 5. The existence of infectious diseases in the contagious stage or serious communicable diseases. 6. Any additional medical conditions that the doctor believes could endanger the participant. 7. Presently using rifampicin, theophylline, propranolol, or phenytoin as a medication. 8. Currently using diclofenac, ibuprofen, or aspirin as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
