Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Primary osteoarthritis of the knee undergoing cemented unilateral total knee arthroplasty, 2. Age greater than 50 years, 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification grade I to III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of thromboembolic disease, 2. Bleeding disorders, 3. Allergy to epinephrine, 4. Revision surgery
