Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients aged 18 years or older 2.Underwent prehospital drug-assisted intubation (DAI) performed by the Narenthorn EMS Center 3. Received either benzodiazepines or etomidate as the sole sedative agent during the intubation procedure 4. Intubation was performed between October 2023 and August 2024 5. Transported by EMS to Rajavithi Hospital for further care

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Requirement for cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the scene 2. Pregnancy at the time of EMS intervention 3.Administration of more than one sedative agent during the intubation procedure 4.Enrollment in palliative care at the time of EMS contact 5. Presence of a documented do not resuscitate order 6.Incomplete or missing prehospital or hospital records relevant to the study
