Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged more than 50 years and community-dwelling. 2. Having been diagnosed with hip fracture (intra and extracapsular fractures) and received hip fracture surgery for the first time and within 3 months after surgery. 3. Able to communicate in Thai language.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hip fracture caused by pathological lesions such as bone sarcoma or fracture caused by diseases. 2. Having cognitive impairment (MoCA Thai less or equal to 24 scores adjusted for the education level). 3. Inability to walk at least 10 meters with or without gait aid before fracture. 4. Having neurological or other conditions that involve ambulation status i.e., stroke or Parkinson disease. 5. Having medical conditions that limit the physical exercise i.e., unstable cardiac disease, infectious diseases or uncontrolled chronic diseases. 6. Having been diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. 7.Having poor nutrition status according to the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (weight loss less than 5% in 6 months and/or BMI below 20 kg/m2).
