18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female with Seborrheic Dermatitis 2. Aged 18-60 years 3. No history of previous coconut oil consumption 3. Have Adherent Scalp Flaking (ASFS) Score > 24 before being given any treatment 4. Being able and willing to participate in the study according to the research information sheet/protocol 5. Sign an informed consent before all activities related to the study begin
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of allergy and irritation to coconut oil 2. Having other associated scalp diseases 3. Having significant scarring of the scalp 4. Having a history of skin cancer 5. Having a history of allergic reactions to shampoos, perfumes or applied hair care products 6. Taking anti-fungal or immunosuppressive agents 7. Taking chronic anti-inflammatory medications within 4 weeks prior to sampling 8. Using anti-dandruff, anti-psoriatic or anti-seborrhoeic dermatitis shampoos within 2 weeks prior to sampling 9. Having significant medical conditions or taking chronic medications that are considered exclusionary
