Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years and older who present with cardiac arrest at the ED or out-of-hospital cardiac arrest

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order 2. Traumatic cardiac arrest 3. Pregnancy 4. Termination of resuscitation before 30 minutes 5. Sign of irreversible death 6. Suspected pneumothorax 7. Achieved return of spontaneous circulation before being randomized
