Participants receive fentanyl 1 mcg/kg IV two minutes before propofol 2 mg/kg IV. Additional propofol 0.5 mg/kg boluses are given if needed for optimal insertion conditions.,Participants receive an eq

20 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 20 and 65 years 2. Patients who undergoing elective surgery requiring LMA insertion 3. American Society of Anesthesia (ASA) physical status I - III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a potentially difficult airway (Mallampati III or IV, thyromental distance of less than 6 cm, a limited mouth opening and/or cervical spine disease, Sleep apnea syndrome) 2. Patients who has reactive airway disease or signs of upper respiratory tract infection 3. Patients with risk of aspiration and regurgitation (e.g, pregnancy, hiatal hernia or GERD) 4.Patients with known allergies to study drugs (propofol, fentanyl) 5. Patients with body mass index <18 kg/m2 and > 30 kg/m2
