Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients age more than 18 years 2. Undergoing elective open posterior spinal instrumentation surgery of the thoracolumbar spine requiring 3D O-arm navigation-assisted pedicle screw insertion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with the spinal infection, including spondylodiscitis/spinal epidural abscess, spinal metastasis, spinal tumour and spinal trauma. 2. Patients undergoing revision spine surgery or surgery for failed back surgery syndrome, 3. Patients requiring pedicle screw insertion at cervical level
