Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients clinically showing active carpal tunnel syndrome and the following 1.1 Tingling, numbness, and burning pain in the hand and fingers, especially the thumb, index finger, and middle finger, and at least 2 of 4 fingers. 1.2 Hand or finger pain is worse at night. 1.3 Patients had positive results from 2 of the 3 tests: Tinels Test, Phalens Test, and the median nerve compression test. 2. Hand and finger pain levels between 4 and 7 by VAS for pain. 3. Patients with more than 4 mm on the 2-point discrimination test. 5. Expression of hand and finger pain for between 3 and 12 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Receipt of physical therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome and steroid injections on the hand within the past month. 2. Treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs and steroids within the past 2 weeks. 3. History of hand and wrist surgery, 4. History of arm and hand fracture or hand deformity. 5. Diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, paralysis, and renal failure. 6. Were currently pregnant.
