20 healthy patients under go bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) at faculty of dentistry, Mahidol University, from January 2023 to July 2024 bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy, inferior alveolar nerve injury, Neurnseosory disturbance

Interventions

the location of IAN from 1) distance from mandibular foramen to sigmoid notch 2) distance between buccal aspect of IAN to buccal cortical bone of mandible at the furcation of the first mandibular mola

18 Years to 34 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with skeletal class III deformity 2) Age ranges from 18 to 34 years old 3) ASA class I and II according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Concomitant genioplasty, anterior subapical osteotomy or body osteotomy 2) History of neurological dysfunction due to IAN injury 3) Previous orthognathic surgery 4) Craniofacial syndromic condition with severe facial asymmetry 5) Pathologic condition of mandible 6) Patients with communication difficulties such as foreigner, blindness, deafness

recovery time of functional sensory recovery preoperatively, immediate post-operative, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 9 months objective asessment
