Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients age morethan 18 year who are undergoing emergency laparotomy in Surin hospital. 2. Patients can provide inform consent and have to be able to attended follow up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Identified of bacterial infection in the surgical field prior surgery 2. Laparoscopic surgery 3. Revision surgery (previous abdominal surgery within 30 days or plan to repeat surgery within 30 days after inclusion) 4. Temporary open abdomen 5. Preoperative continuous antibiotic within 5 days before surgery 6. Allergy to povidone-iodine 7. Pregnancy
