Interventions

Positive-End Expiratory Pressure from mechanical ventilator start at 5 cmH2O(baseline).Then increasing the PEEP level to 8,10,13,15,18,20,22 cmH2O.Each PEEP level has to wait for 2 minutes for effect

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.older than 18 year old,2.postcranial surgery,3.on mechanical ventilator

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.ICP>20mmHg,2.previous brain injury,3.previous eye disease,4.unstable cardiopulmonary ,5.pregnant,6.No inform consent

optic nerve sheath diameter 2 minutes after each positive end expiratory pressure(PEEP) levels at8,10,13,15,18,20 and 22 cmH2O. ultrasound imaging ,measurement in mm the size on millimeter(mm)

MeasureTime frame
mean arterial pressure(MAP),end tidal carbon dioxide(EtCO2),oxygen saturation(SpO2),arterial blood gas(ABG),chest X-ray(CXR) 2 minutes after each PEEP levels at8,10,13,15,18,20 and 22 centimeterwater (cmH2O) MAP in millimeter mercury(mmHg),EtCO2 in mmHg,SpO2 in percentage, ABG in numeric number, CXR by Image results
