Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 aged over 18 years 2 met the indication for flexible cystoscopy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 pregnancy 2 patients with a urinary catheter 3 cephalosporin antibiotic allergy 4 ongoing symptoms of a urinary tract infection 5 the need for additional procedures during flexible cystoscopy 6 active infection, active smoking 7 active cardiovascular disease 8 active cerebrovascular disease 9 immunocompromised patients, such as those undergoing chemotherapy or using steroids 10 COPD 11 bedridden status 12 abnormal urinary tract anatomy 13 creatinine clearance (CrCl) less than 20 mL/min.
