Conditions

In the world, patients who are coronary artery diseases or ischemic heart diseases have a high rate of death and inadequate level of health literacy. If diseases progress to severe, treatment will be surgery that called coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). In addition, patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) have repeatedly re-vascularization rate within 5 years, 9.8% and readmission rate within 30 days was 12.9%, but self-care behaviors after surgery is a reduced complication

Interventions

Participants received standard postoperative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft care.,Participants received standard postoperative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft care with Self-care training program.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants are over 18 years old. 2. Participants who coronary artery disease or ischemic heart disease are underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery and no other cardiac surgery. 3. Participants aren't symptom of dementia that screening by Thai Mental State Examination (score >23). 4. Participants can write, read and speak Thai language very well.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants have comorbidity such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, MI within 24 hrs, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia. 2. Echocardiogram before coronary artery bypass graft surgery was Left Ventricular Ejection fraction (LVEF) < 30%. 3. New York Heart Association before coronary artery bypass graft surgery was level 4. 4. Participants was received invasive device such as intra-aortic ballon pump or extracorporeal membranous oxygenator.
