Interventions

A MagPro R30 electromagnetic stimulator device with a Racetrack probe will be used over individual spastic muscles. The stimulation will be done over shoulder adductors, shoulder extensors, elbow exte

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. First event of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke diagnosed through computed tomography or MRI 2. Age between 18 to 80 years 3. Spasticity of upper extremity which has Modified Ashworth Score 1+,2 or 3 4. onset of post stroke at least six weeks 5. ability to sit on a chair independently for at least 1hour

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion 1. Use of a cardiac pacemaker or unknown invasive cardiac procedure 2. Metallic devices placed in the affected limb 3. Pregnancy 4. Malignancy 5. unstable fracture in the paretic upper limb 6. Not follow command or cognitive impairment 7. Any joint contracture or deformity in the hand or upper limb 8. Other neurological problem

Upper limb spasticity pre treatment, end of treatment, 30 minutes after treatment, 60 minutes after treatment, and 90 minutes after treatment To measure the degree of spasticity by using Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS)
