Temporomandibular joint (TMJ ankylosis is a permanent restriction of mouth opening caused by fibrous or bony union between temporal bone and mandibular condyle. This condition causes stiffness or limitation of mouth opening leading to impaired oral function and effects quality of life in term of malnutrition and social appearance. Interventions

left TMJ gap arthroplasty with bilateral coronoidectomies and reposition the gap with left temporalis muscle flap under general anesthesia.
