Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Tracheostomized patient age under18 years 2. Participants admitted in the pediatric ward of KCMH with lower respiratory tract infections. 3. patient must have had at least a one-month interval since their last lower respiratory tract infections.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. untreated pneumothorax 2. compromised hemodynamic 3. massive hemoptysis 4. severe hypoxia (oxygen saturation < 92% requiring oxygen supplement greater than FiO2 0.6) were excluded.
