Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >/= 18-year-old 2. Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) subjects with nonresponsive symptoms after standard medication for 4 weeks 3. Subjects accepted for continuing the same dose of medication for 4 weeks
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with gastric ulcer 2. Subjects with Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome 3. Subjects with abnormal esophageal motility disease 4. Subjects with trachea-esophageal fistula or esophageal obstruction 5.Subjects with esophageal or gastric malignancy 6. Subjects with esophagitis from drug 7.Previous of history of gastroesophageal, duodenal surgery 8.Subjects with significant intellectual disabilities or severe psychiatric conditions 11. Subjects with severe blood coagulation disorders 12. Pregnant or breastfeeding patients 13. Subjects with skin infections or lesions at the site relevant to acupuncture 14. Subjects with other contraindications to acupuncture 15. Subjects unwilling to undergo acupuncture treatment
