Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 35-59 2. receiving diabetes treatment at a clinic for at least 3 months 3. HbA1C levels greater than 7 percent over the past 3 months 4. diagnosed with T2DM for at least 1 year 5. no obvious complications such as blurred vision, memory loss, paralysis or limb amputations, kidney issues requiring dialysis, and infectious diseases (e.g., AIDS, tuberculosis).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. receiving diabetes treatment at a clinic for less than 3 months 2. HbA1C levels lower than 7 percent over the past 3 months 3. have been diagnosed with T2DM less than 1 year 4. having obvious complications such as blurred vision, memory loss, paralysis or limb amputations, kidney issues requiring dialysis, and infectious diseases (e.g., AIDS, tuberculosis).
