Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient with a spinal cord injury , be on a ventilator, and have passed the spinal shock phase., 2. The patient must meet all the readiness criteria as per the developed practice guidelines.,3. The patient must be conscious, able to communicate, and understand the Thai language., 4. The patient must not have issues with vision, hearing, or other sensory functions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The patient has complications not related to the use of a ventilator, increase the severity of the disease and affect the use of the ventilator, decrease in the level of consciousness and final stage., 2.Transferred from orthopedic ward before completing the process of ventilator weaning., 3.Passes away before entering the process of ventilator weaning., 4.Condition worsens, and the physician provides palliative care.
