Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with fractures of the forearm bones were recruited and followed for 12 months. 2. The fractures included Galeazzi fracture, Monteggia fracture, radius fracture (isolated), ulna fracture (isolated), and fractures of both forearm bones.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Open fractures classified as Gustilo and Anderson type III. 2. Patients with a pathologic fracture due to a tumor or infection. 3. Immunocompromised patients, such as those with HIV or those on long-term steroid medication, patients with a metabolic bone disease. 4. Patients medically unfit for surgery.
