Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant women aged 15 years or older with singleton between 15 to 32 weeks gestation attending antenatal care at Hat Yai Hospital 2.Serum ferritin lower 50 ng/mL 3.Hemoglobin levels lower 11 g/dL (second trimester) or lower 10.5 g/dL (third trimester) 4.Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) lower 80 fL
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Hyperemesis gravidarum 2.Thalassemia disease 3.Chronic kidney disease (stage 3 or higher) 4.Gastrointestinal diseases affecting absorption such as chronic peptic ulcers/ Crohn s disease/ or ulcerative colitis 5.Cancer 6.History of intolerance to iron supplementation (Grade 2 or higher side effects) 7.Blood transfusion or IV iron supplementation within the past 3 months 8.Visual/ speech/ or hearing impairments
