Sixty participants diagnosed with KOA aged 60 70 years with consistent knee pain for more than 3 months were randomly assigned to the Master Tungs points group or traditional acupuncture points group. Pain was assessed at the baseline and 10 days after treatment using the visual analog scale. In addition, WOMAC, and plasma ESR and hs CRP levels were assessed at both time points. Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Those who met the above diagnostic criteria (1) Aged 60 years or over, male or female with a diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis (single or both knee). (2) Have a history of knee pain for more than 3 months and have complained of knee pain in most of the past month. (3) morning stiffness 30 min; (4) Willing to accept the treatment of this plan and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The following participants were excluded:(1) Patients with a history of trauma and knee arthroplasty. (2) Patient has inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis or other diseases that may affect the condition of the knees. (3) Unable to move.
