Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age Range: 35-59 years old. Health Condition: Diagnosed with prediabetes, defined by: Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG): 100-125 mg/dL. Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT): 140-199 mg/dL after a 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c): 5.7-6.4%. Residency: Must live in Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. Willingness to Participate: Voluntarily agrees to join the study. Provide written informed consent. Technology Access & Literacy: Owns and can use a smartphone. Comfortable using an online health coaching application. Physical & Cognitive Ability: Capable of participating in motivational counseling sessions. No severe cognitive impairment or psychiatric disorders affecting participation. Medical Stability: No diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). No severe complications (e.g., end-stage kidney disease, severe cardiovascular diseases).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM): Severe Health Conditions: End-stage kidney disease. Severe cardiovascular diseases (e.g., recent heart attack, stroke). Uncontrolled hypertension or other conditions that may interfere with participation. Pregnancy: Women who are currently pregnant or planning pregnancy during the study period. Cognitive or Psychological Impairments: Individuals with severe cognitive impairment or mental health disorders that affect their ability to participate (e.g., severe depression, schizophrenia). Inability to Use Technology: Lack of access to a smartphone or internet connection. Difficulty using online health coaching applications. Inability to Provide Consent: Those unable to understand or sign informed consent due to language barriers or mental incapacity.
