Conditions

Urinary tract infection is one of the most common complications after fragility hip fracture that leads to increase morbidity and mortality, especially among elderly. Short term uses of urinary catheter may lower risk of UTI in fragility hip fracture patients. Urinary tract infection, hip fracture

Interventions

The patients in ths group will recieve preoperative urinary catheter before surgery in operating theater and remove at 48 hours after urinary catheter insertion. Urine analysis and urine culture will

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age >= 60 years old 2) Fragility hip fracture 3) No pyuria preoperative

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) KUB system problem (neurogenic bladder, history recent UTI, ongoing catheterization, ESRD ) 2) bed ridden 3) open fracture
