Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 18 years old 2. Community-acquired sepsis according to SIRS criteria presenting at ED 3. Enrolled within 24 hours after initial diagnosis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suspected sepsis not resulting from a bacterial infection 2. Aim as palliative treatment 3. Expected treatment duration of less than 5 days or plan more then 21 days
