Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient was included after written the informed consent form their parents. Patient age 6 months to 15 years who had acute illness with mild dehydration who admitted as an inpatient in Pediatric ward, Lampang hospital were eligible.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: patients who do not consent to participate in the study, abnormally high serum Na levels before joining the study (Na > 145 mg/dL) and without follow-up laboratory results before and after receiving intravenous fluids and had underlying disease such as heart failure, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and received diuretic drugs before or during the study.
