Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age 18 - 75 years with inform consent The patient or direct relative (in cases where the patient is unable to make a decision for themselves) agrees to participate in the research project and signs the consent form to participate in the research project. 2. Hospital admission to intensive care unit withing 24 hours 3. Patients with septic shock from any source of infection. Septic shock is defined by hypotension with vasopressor requirement to maintain a mean arterial pressure more than 65 mmHg and serum lactate more than 2 mmol/L in the absence of hypovolemia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not required continuous cardiac output monitoring 2. Unstable hemodynamic required immediate fluid resuscitation 3. Pregnancy 4. Patients with contraindication for passive leg raising method. For example: Increase intraabdominal pressure, trauma patients, patients undergo recent intraabdominal surgery (less than 30 days) or with open abdomen, patients with spine fracture or spinal column instability and patients who have leg amputated. 5. Patients with active pulmonary embolism. 6. Morbid obese patients 7. Deny participating into the study
