Age
60 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elderly individuals aged 60 to 90 years. 2.Elderly individuals with insomnia, diagnosed by a physician according to DSM-V criteria 3.Good level of consciousness, able to communicate in Thai, with no hearing impairments. 4.Able to travel to participate in the study. 5.Able to read and write in Thai. 6.Willing to participate and cooperate in the research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Elderly individuals with insomnia who have been taking Benzodiazepine medication greater than or equal to 1 mg/day for greater than or equal to 1 year. 2.Individuals with vision or communication problems. 3.Individuals with a history of allergy to Gabapentin. 4.Individuals with psychiatric disorders or dementia, which prevent them from providing sleep-related information. 5.Individuals with a history of regularly taking Gabapentin for other conditions such as spinal stenosis, polyneuropathy, or epilepsy. 6.Individuals with uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1C more than 8%). 7.Individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, or heart disease. 8.Terminally ill patients.
