60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 60 years and older patient with distal end radius fracture who underwent ORIF with volar plate fixation in KCMH 2. Patients with no neurological impairment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other associated fracture that affected post operative hand rehabilitation 2. Patients with arthritis e.g. rheumatoid, OA, psoriatic arthritis

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
%Total active motion (%TAM) 4 weeks after volar plate fixation Goniometer measure range of motion of all fingers both hands. Compare sum of active motion of affected hand with normal side as percentage.

Secondary

Pain 4 weeks after volar plate fixation Visual analog scale (1 to 10),Patient related wrist/hand evaluation (PRWHE)) 4 weeks after volar plate fixation patient's self evaluation of hand function
