Exclusion criteria: children with neurological and brain diseases that affect temperature regulation include conditions such as cerebral hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, brain injuries, and brain infections. Additional factors that can impact temperature regulation include prior brain surgery, the presence of pressure sores, and burns on the skin. Moreover, inadequate hygiene practices by patients or caregivers, such as not adhering to proper cleaning standards, can exacerbate the situation. In some cases, patients in the experimental group did not sleep on cool gel mattresses, which could further affect their ability to regulate body temperature effectively.
