Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Clinical Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score ,Interview from patient (0-100) point,Pain Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Visual Analogue Score: Back and Leg Pain ,Interview from patient (0-10)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Disc height Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Measure form plain film l-s spine at index level (l4-5) and adjacent lv (l3-4 and l5-s1) upper endplate of lower vertebra and the lower endplate of upper vertebra (mm),Foraminal height Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Measure form plain film l-s spine at index level (l4-5) and adjacent lv (l3-4 and l5-s1) By distance between the lower edge of the upper pedicle and the superior edge of the lower pedicle (mm),spinal canal diameter Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Measured with MRI T2 ;AP spinal canal diameter at the disc of index level (mm),cross-sectional area Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Measured with MRI T2 axial cut ; spinal canal area at the disc of index level (mm2),lateral recess stenosis grading Preoperatively, at 1 month and 12 month after surgery Measured with MRI T2 axial cut ; grade 0-3
