Patient with chonic liver disease who suffered with pruritus for more than 2 weeks with out known underlying specific skin disease such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, dermatophytosis, candidiasis, or other active skin infection. Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for participants required 1. Individuals to be 18 years of age or older 2. Diagnosed with chronic liver disease or cholestatic liver disease 3. Presented with generalized pruritus persisting for more than 2 weeks.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included: 1. Allergy to Andrographis paniculata. 2. Use of topical steroids within the past 2 weeks. 3. Impaired consciousness due to specific conditions. 4. A life expectancy of less than 4 weeks. 5. Pregnancy or breastfeeding. 6. Blood pressure below 90/60 mmHg. 7. Low platelet counts or abnormal blood clotting. 8. Known underlying skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, dermatophytosis, candidiasis, or other chronic skin infections
