Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients over 18 years of age, previously diagnosed meningioma based on MRI imaging. 2 Patients scheduled for surgery at Srinagarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with tumor size less than 2.5 cm. As the previous study (Yu et al. (2022)) shows that MRE tends to underestimate shear stiffness in smaller tumors, especially those less than 2 cm. in size. 2 Patients undergoing needle biopsy only. 3 Patients with recurrent or residual tumors at the same site after prior surgery. However, if these patients scheduled for surgery of a new tumor in the other location will not be excluded.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Tumor Stiffness After the study measurement on MRI station by drawing region of interest (ROI ) at different areas in the tumor mass and measure the stiffness in Kilo Pascal (kPa) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Tumor -brain adhesion after the study Grading degree of interface between tumor and surrounding brain by using eyeball technique from slip interface images as number 1,2,3 (1.complete 2.partial 3.no interface) | — |
