Inclusion criteria: Volunteers Using Statins 1. Male or female, aged 60 years and above. 2. Body mass index (BMI) greater than 15 kg/m2. 3. Able to perform lower limb movement or exercise. 4. Continuous use of statins for at least one year prior to the study (participants must provide their own statin medication records or obtain this information from the healthcare facility they visit). 5. No regular resistance or aerobic exercise (defined as engaging in such exercise for at least two days per week) in the six months preceding the study. 6. No history of diagnosed heart disease, neurological disorders, or chronic respiratory diseases (e.g., chronic pneumonia, emphysema). 7. No history of patellar fractures. Volunteers Not Using Statins 1. Male or female, aged 60 years and above. 2. Body mass index (BMI) greater than 15 kg/m2. 3. Able to perform lower limb movement or exercise. 4. No use of statins for at least one year prior to the study.
Exclusion criteria
