Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients at least 18 years of age, who were suspected of having PTB (2) Negative AFB smears on 3 consecutive days of self-expectorated sputum or being sputum-scarce.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with asthma, COPD, uncontrolled hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, unstable medical conditions, pregnancy 2. History of beta-agonist hypersensitivity 3. Having had received anti-tuberculosis drugs within the previous 2 months 4. Having had a positive AFB smear from self-expectoration, or proven another diagnosed causes of chest symptoms and abnormal imaging
