Interventions

use standard MacCarty keyhole as the location of key burr hole prior to craniotomy procedure. The location of MacCarty keyhole is identified as fronto-sphenoidal suture 1 cm posterior to the frontozyg

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) patients undergoing fronto-parietal craniotomy surgery 2) patients willing to sign the consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency cases 2) patients previously undergone fronto-parietal craniotomy 3) patients with intellectual disabilities 4) patients under the age of 18 5) patients with high suspicion for already-torn MMA prior to surgery 6) patients who withdraw from research

Identification of middle meningeal artery immediately at surgical field observation intra-operatively by surgeon/observer

MeasureTime frame
Preservation of middle meningeal artery immediately at surgical field observation intra-operatively by surgeon/observer,Modified Rankin scale of patient 3 months after surgery evaluation by clinician ,Operative blood loss immediately within operation estimation intra-operatively by anesthesiologist,Cosmetic problem after surgery 3 months after surgery observation by patient/clinician
