Interventions

Magnesium chloride 20% (elemental magnesium 24 mg/mL) 1 teaspoon, orally 4 times a day for 3 months

40 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Type2 diabetes mellitus 2. HbA1c 7.0-10.0% 3. low or normal plasma ionized magnesium

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Disease that affect to drug absorption e.g. malabsorption, short bowel syndrome 2. Chronic kidney disease > stage 3 3. Bleeding disorders e.g. low platelet or prolonged PT/PTT 4. Had recieved magnesium supplementation within 3 month 5. The last 2 times HbA1c level differed more than 20 percent 6. Pregnancy
