Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.mature permanent teeth 2. comprehensive records must be available 3. good quality digital periapical images of preoperative, postoperative, and follow up which has sealer extrusion for at least 1 root in postoperative radiograph 4. at least one follow up radiograph with a minimum 1 year recall period with the same angulation as an initial radiograph
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The teeth were excluded if one of these conditions was found: 1. Critical errors (e.g. broken instrument, root perforation) 2. coronal leakage 3. immature apex 4. evidence of root resorption 5. existing sealer extrusion from a previous endodontic treatment 6. teeth with extruded intracanal medication 7. severe periodontal disease 8. teeth with overextended gutta-percha point
