Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.1 Inclusion criteria for Parkinson disease or PD group 1) Clinically diagnosed with PD stages 2 (bilateral disease, without impairment of balance) to 3 (mild to moderate bilateral disease; some postural instability; physically independent) as assessed by the modified Hoehn and Yahr scale 2) The age groups between 45 and 75 years 3) Taking PD medication regularly for at least a month or to have maintained stable anti-PD medication without any changes for at least one month prior to the study. This criterion aimed to minimize potential confounding effects on movement performance, particularly those related to variations in antiparkinsonian drug dosage during testing. 4) Able to use smart phone for download metronome application, either by the participant or their caregiver 5) Able to walk independently without any assistive device 6) Able to follow commands and instructions. 1.2 Inclusion criteria 1) The age and sex of the matched groups with PD ranged between 45 and 75 years. 2) Able to understand and follow commands and instructions 3) Able to walk independently without any assistive devices 4) Able to use smart phone for download metronome application, either by the participant or their caregiver 5) Score about 24 or more for TMSE and score of 25 or more for the MoCA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Have a verified clinical diagnosis of a condition that could influence test and STS movement, for example severe vestibular dysfunction 2) Have a comorbidity with severe systemic illness, severe signs and symptoms of musculoskeletal issues, such as having a knee/hip prosthesis that may influenced STS performance 3) Visual and hearing problems that cannot be corrected with the use of aids.
