Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the study: Pediatric patients aged 6-10 years with no systemic diseases Upper primary second molars with cavities not close to the pulp that seen on periapical radiographs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the study: Children with systemic diseases Children which are receiving neurological or psychological treatment Children who have been hospitalized due to a previous surgery Children with irregular circadian rhythms Dental procedures that do not require anesthesia (such as atraumatic restorative treatments, fissure sealants, and fluoride applications) Parents of patients who do not wish to participate in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Secretory Immunoglobulin-A levels The evaluations will be conducted on the same day as the applications. Saliva samples taken before and after dental anesthesia applications with SleeperOne 5, Jetokain, conventional anesthesia, and topical + conventional anesthesia will be biochemically analyzed.

Secondary

Secretory cortisol levels The evaluations will be conducted on the same day as the applications. Saliva samples taken before and after dental anesthesia applications with SleeperOne 5, Jetokain, conventional anesthesia, and topical + conventional anesthesia will be biochemically analyzed.
