Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 18-60 years old, 2.are healthy (ASA I) or mild systemic disease without substantive functional limitations (ASA II), 3. present with at least one impacted mandibular third molar and, are planned for surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molar under local anesthesia, 4.can answer questionnaires used in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. simultaneously need surgical removal of bilateral impacted mandibular third molar, 2. fail to return for follow-up and comply with study, 3. have history of head and neck radiation, 4. have history of intaking antiresorptive or angiogenetic medication, 5. have no adjacent mandibular second molar, 6. have contraindications to either NSAIDs or paracetamol
