10 Years to 12 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. upper primary school children 2. in mixed dentition period with at least 1 initial smooth surface caries lesion with active non-cavitated lesions 3. no underlying medical conditions 4. not taking fluoride tablets or liquid supplements continuously for more than 1 year and 5. no professional topical fluoride application for at least 6 months prior to the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. presence of oral soft tissue lesions 2. primary teeth with mobility grade 1 or higher
