Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1.Male or female, aged between 30 and 50 years. 2.Moderate to high levels of physical activity, categorized as: Sedentary is less than 150 minutes per week of physical activity; Active is more than 150 minutes per week of physical activity. 5.Ability to lie on either the left or right side during ultrasound elastography examination. 6.No history of fractures or surgeries in the lower back region. 7.Non-athletes or athletes training less than 20 hours per week. 8.Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. NSLBP Group: 1. Office Work-Related Sedentary Behavior: 1) Sitting for at least 30 consecutive minutes without standing in a single day. 2) Working more than 6 hours per day and more than 30 hours/week continuously for at least 3 months. 3) Standing or walking less than 4 hours per day. 4) Diagnosis of Myofascial Pain Syndrome 2. Confirmed by a physiotherapist, involving: 1) Presence of taut bands in the gluteal muscles. 2) Identification of tender points within the muscles. 3) Reproduction of familiar pain upon palpation. 3.Lower Back Pain Symptoms: 1) Pain located between the lower ribs and gluteal fold, either unilaterally or bilaterally. 2) Pain intensity rated at least 3/10 on a numerical pain scale. 4. Chronicity and Recurrence of Symptoms: 1) Absence of radiating numbness or leg pain for more than 3 years. 2) A history of symptom remission lasting at least 3 months prior to the current episode of low back pain. 5. Functional Disability Level: Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score more than 10%. Asymptomatic Control (AC) Group: 1. Must not have experienced chronic lower back pain (located between the lower ribs and gluteal fold, either unilaterally or bilaterally) in the past year.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Athletic Training: Participants with training hours exceeding 20 hours per week. 2. Serious Conditions (Red Flags): Nighttime back pain without an apparent cause. Unexplained weight loss. 3. Medical History: History of fractures, lumbar spine surgeries, osteoporosis, or neurological abnormalities. 4. Obesity: Body Mass Index (BMI) more than 30 kg per squarmeter. 5. Pregnancy: Pregnant or suspected pregnancy. 6. Specific Pathological Causes of Low Back Pain: Conditions such as tumors, infections, inflammatory disorders, herniated discs, scoliosis, or prolapsed discs. 7. Nerve Compression Signs: 1) Positive Straight Leg Raise (SLR) test ( less than 45 degrees).2) Muscle weakness in one leg. 3) Reduced reflexes (less than 2+). 8. Positional Limitation: Inability to lie on the side for 30 minutes. 9. Spinal Health History: History of osteoporosis, spinal fractures, or lumbar spine surgery.
